Hi all looking at buying new wheels. Mostly be used for tri's and tt's. budget between 400 and 600. Rider weight 85kgs.
Currently looking at cosmic elites at 400 but I see Planet X have carbons for 600. Has anyone got Planet X wheels? there are some good and bad reviews out there. Or for our roads should I stick to aluminium?
Or should I look at ksyriums? Preference is for an aero type wheel.

Agreed - I think for the money, Zondas are the best out there

I like the Campy Zonda's they are great wheels, but would you really class them as an aero wheel? They are hardy very deep, I'd see them more as a good value road race wheel than a wheel for TT'ing & triathlon. I dont know of any good deep wheelset for 400 - 600, maybe a custom wheel builder can do something?

Thanks folks will do a bit of googling today and see what reviews are like on them. I presume they are available for shimano and not just campag

If you're looking for tri/tt wheels the weight doesn't matter as much, afaik, so why not go for the planet x wheels?

If I was in the market for affordable TT wheels, I'd happily buy these:

They're a little heavy and the weak point seems to bearings. Bearings can be replaced.
