Parking light flashes on Fiat 110-90 for unknown reason?

    Hello there!

I've got a Fiat 110-90 from '89 and recently noticed the parking light on the instrument board flashing constantly, even when the parking break is not pulled up.

Anyone have any clue to what can be up? I know that Fiat's tend to have somewhat unreliable electronics but can there be another reason?

    Thanks!

    Check your brake fluid level.
This light will be lit when brake fluid level is too low.
When driving, as car moves and fluid in brake fluid container will move and might cause light to flash if it's level is around minimum or below.

Also it might be just some short wire somewhere as well.
I have it on my bravo - when driving this light flashes, but over last year I didn't find a culprit, but I'm nearly 100% sure it's a wire somewhere which isolation coating was broken and is causing short circuit.

fiat tractors certainly wouldn't be known for unreliable electronics mainly because everything is manual. yes check brake fluid or is the handbrake not pushing down the botton for the light to go off if you know what I mean.

Thanks I just found out what was causing the light to flash.
The hand brake has a small button which should be pressed in when the brake is not on and the handle is down. The little button had come lose and when i pushed it manually the light stopped blinking.

Gotta love tractors with old school mechanics. Usually easy to access problems.

    Thanks anyway.

Just wondering if you've ever driven one from the winner series?

If the seat's wet, sit on yer hat, a cool head is better than a wet ar5e.
