Toy Silage/Hay Bales

    I'm looking to know would anyone know where the best place to look for toy silage or hay bales for a farm set for a child of 5-10 years? In Dublin region preferably.

    make them. buy a timber dowel at the diameter you want in your hardware store the bale and then cut the lengths you want them and paint them black and the will look like round bales of silage

    We got some in Marks Models and also the Art and Hobby Shop for 1 to 32 scale Siku models

    Whats the dmd of them? How many will be need to feed a cow? I guess the fe%ken price of them has skyrocketed also though like all other types of fodder at the minute :rolleyes:

    Two rolls of plumbers white tape in the click case. Wrap with black insulation tape.and there ya go.hard times here lol

    I had hundreds of them when I was a little lad. Made them all myself out of bits of ash trees and used to wrap them with insulating tape.
