Flights with Aer Lingus/United Airlines to Washington Dulles

I'm currently booking return flights for August/December from Dublin to Washington Dulles Airport. When I book through Aer Lingus, the cost comes to €890, offered through a codeshare with United Airlines. I presume that means I'll be flying on a United Airlines craft.

If I input the same dates/flights into the United Airlines website, or even Expedia, the very same flights seem to come to €736.

Am I missing something? Is there any advantage to booking what seems to be the same flights, but through Aer Lingus?
