    I started Computing Level7 in DKIT in 2010 I was 17 at the time anyway I completed both Christmas exams and Summer exams but didn't pass enough I left after the end of first year. The course was for 3 years. I was receiving the maintenance grant.

    Fast forward to now and i've a interview for a PLC course if I get onto the course will I be entitled to BTEA?

    No since it is a downgrade in course level.

    Who makes the final decision re BTEA? Is it the VEC or the Dept of Social Protection?
