Is there a good polish to bring up the finish on modern chrome trims. Im assuming the trims on my car are just plastic finished with chrome effect.
At 5 years old, the finish is starting to dull ever so slightly so I would like to bring back the finish if possible.
    What should I use?

I find Autosol good. Is it a VW or Audi, I've found their chrome is pretty rubbish and dulls very quickly.

Would a coat of wax keep it shining? I'm in the same boat as the OP.

Regular polish that you'd use on the paint work might do the job if they're not too bad. Certainly should do a good job if using a machine. Just remember to mask off areas where polish will stain.

On our B6 Passat the chrome trim used to go dull very quickly but a small bit of AG SRP rubbed in with a finger/microfibre cloth combo brought the shine right back :)
