I am currently preparing to build on an extension for a kitchen/living space. My builder has included in his price pumped insulation for a 100mm cavity. I am a little concerned that this will not be enough insulation. This is all new to me so I am looking for assistance. Would it make sense to insulate the internal walls as well? Is this common or are their reasons for not doing so? Maybe it would make more sense to increase the cavity and pump it. Any advice or opinions will be appreciated. Thanks.

Yes increase the cavity and pump it patsy. Get a qualified person to work out the sweet spot for the cavity width but I'd be starting at 150mm. My advice is not to skip past an engineer.

Yes increase cavity width and pump it fully.
Dont insulate internally, there are plenty of reasons to pick the other options if you do some research , basically you will find people saying either pump cavity or insulate externally are the best options.
