    Hi,

Last year I put some fake stone cladding on my fireplace in the kitchen. It is gorgeous to look at and feels just like real stone. It was from a really good/helpful company called century stone.
    Website is http://www.centurystone.ie/

I've attached some pictures of it. The type I ordered was a custom blend/mix of sandstone and brown/grey mix (60% sandstone & 40% Brown and grey). No extra cost to supply you with a custom mix to get the colour you want.
Very helpful and delivered to me quickly.

    Hope this helps.

    Hi Linto.

I got it from a local salvage yard. All salvage yards would have a good range of timbers, beams etc. That one was a little longer, which my husband cut down and cost 90euro. But looks gorgeous in real life!

Have just ordered my stone from Lacken Stone, they are based in Ballina but they should deliver to Dublin. I have gone with their light grey sandstone, my aunt had her fireplace built in it and it is really beautiful.

I think I rang them, it was 2005/2006 when I got this. Can't remember exact details to be honest. I picked it up in Claremorriss off a lad who came up from Tipperary I think.

Both of these look great, would you be able to pm me with the prices for the cladding.
I've been thinking about getting the artificial if the price is better than the natural as it's only for the chimney breast so not a huge area.
