Back years ago it used to be called in-line breeding was all the go , have had a belgian blue weanling heifer end up going in calf to her daddy at six months old and the resulting calf was perfectly fine no problems whatsoever wouldnt be keeping the offspring as breeding stock though.

Years ago gave the injection ... cow had no problems having another calf after that.
IMO the inbred calf may look ok but is never 100%

Hard decision ... best of luck

Ya have one here, 3/4 bred angus, it was a heifer calf, intended putting it in the freezer but it never happened and she calved down this year, all ok so far but I wouldn't be doing it deliberately. It could go either way, maybe you could ai her to a different breed of bull in the morning, you might be lucky.

If the seat's wet, sit on yer hat, a cool head is better than a wet ar5e.

inject her in 10 days!! not worth the risk had a cousin with a in bred calf born by section dead with 6 legs:eek::eek:. She,ll be in heat in 12 days or so and all will be grand.
