A couple of weeks ago I traded in my old car (which was untaxed since March) as part payment for my new car. Now, today I just got a final reminder motor tax letter in the door on the old car. Will I be liable if that car is found being test driven? Anyone any advice please?

The dealer needs to send in form RF105 to put it in their name.

So, how do I check if it's in my name? Will the dealer just leave it in my name until he sells it to someone else?
