So who's your favourite boxing referee's then?? I have been a bit critical of some refs in the past, for example, I reckon Joe Cortez & Mickey Vann should have been put out to grass long before they were.

Robert Byrd & Tony Weeks seem to be fairly busy these days & doing a reasonable job.

Kenny Bayless for me. Ill never forget Cortez, ruined that fight between Mayweather and Hatton.

Frank Cappuccino because he should have been knighted for his performance in Gatti Ward I and he has the coolest name in refereeing.

It was awful alright, he did ruin the fight. It's hard to think of another fight where the referee intervened so incessantly to the advantage of one of the fighters.

My favourite three are: Kenny Bayless -who does mainly the Vegas shows, Steve Smoger - Who does the East coast and Howard Foster - for the British fights.

In terms of least favourite: Emile Tiedt.

Agree whenever i hear that Bayless or Smoger will be the ref it makes me even more excited about fights because you know that they wont be ruined by bad referees

Ya can't beat Kenny Bayless and I always liked Mickey Vann.

Richie Davies did his fair share of giving out to the UK Heavyweights for not boxing enough and hugging their way thru fights!

If he waved the fight off after the second knockdown, I don't think many would complain because the fight was pretty much over at that stage.
