IKEA Makeup Storage?

    Hi all,

I'm looking to get some storage units / accessories from IKEA for makeup and beauty supplies.

Could anyone please recommend any IKEA suggestions please?

I'm thinking of getting the Helmer unit - I would love the Alex but it's out of my price range unfortunately.

Also looking for inserts like the Antonious, if anyone has any ideas or suggestions for what products would be good for makeup storage please let me know as I hope to pick up some bits this weekend! :)

Helmer is supposed to be amazing. And the Antonius for the drawers. I think you have down exactly what you need already!

I have the Helmer with the Antonius inserts and the Alex (a LOT of makeup) and I don't really rate the Helmer all that much to be honest. It's metallic, noisy, clangy, relatively little storage, esp when you use the Antonius inserts. The drawers don't have any stopper so you can easily pull a drawer out too far. It looks far more industrial than I thought it would, not very impressed. I'd definitely recommend shelling out the extra few quid on the Alex unit.
