will many of you use the milk recording the see if animals are in calf? I think it's nearly the same price as scanning and less stressful. won't tell how long incalf they are but if you were sure of service dates might be a good job

i will stick with the scanning anyway, my scanning man tells me the sex of the calf, if there's twins or not and if there's any problems. Also you would still have to get vet or someone if you get a negative on the milk test

Sadly there is allot of them out there, have a good one here (although all AI here).
Chatting a guy who works in a mart long time ago, he told me of cows for dry sale which he quizzed the owner should they not be breeding sale. Reply was scanned not incalf last week. He mentioned to new owners it could be no harm in second opinion, 6 months gone

in the past i estrumated cows that where scanned not in calf and they threw their calves, another scanning guy perforated a few of my cows with the probe and they ended up with peritonitis

Emm I'd be livid, but what can you do bar look elsewhere.
    Look after this guy.
Heard of scanning that could be done especially with maiden heifers pre breeding that would highlight any potential issues (cysts etc)
