    Summer's here!

I have the day off too. So I am in the garden, suncream applied and ready to do absolutely nothing.

What's your plan for the hot season?

    Water the plants.
Take out the Parasol, table and chairs.
    Clean down the BBQ.
Bring the Electric blanket to the recycling centre.

    Water the plants.
    Done already!!!
Take out the Parasol, table and chairs.
    Clean down the BBQ.
I would if I had a BBQ and Parasol.
Bring the Electric blanket to the recycling centre.
Not a good idea in my opinion

As for me I got work at 3 til 9 tonight. will go down to my sisters for a few minutes in my break as there is a family party on this afternoon.

Too much effort cleaning the bbq but I have a disposable one somewhere. Can't beat a bit of bbq'd sausage on a hot evening.

    A completely sensationalist post IMO.
Considering that it would be nearly high noon in Riga when its 10am in Ireland coupled with the fact that its completely landlocked I don't find it one bit surprising.

This evening go to the beach, drink some beers, drunken bumping cars and maybe have a swim.

Tomorrow go to the beach, drink some beers, tag rugby, frisbee, and maybe have a bit of a swim.

Its nice to be abroad these few months

It was +27 at 10am in the morning. Riga landlocked? Reading classes and Google maps will help you. ;)

Looks lovely out through the office window. I was hoping to finish up at 4 today but have just been told that we have to start a job that will take until at least 5.30 to finish. FFS who starts work like that on a Friday afternoon?? I'll have to have a chat with the bossman I think.

As for my evening. Both my boys have hurling training so we should finally get to eat dinner around 8pm. If anyone has a spare BBQ sausage going please send it my way.

I like the term 'beer garden.' One envisages a flowery area, resplendent in decadent greenery with ice cool golden beer being served by buxom maidens.

The reality is a few square feet of concrete out the back beside the toilets, with a picnic bench, a lot of fag butts and a muttering alcoholic trying to bum a few smokes.

    Still heaven however.

Yes, the sea is 14Km from Riga making it technically landlocked.:pac:

Just back from a 10k walk, not having a drop of rain was a godsend.

Unfortunately, it seems its about to pour down as insinuated from the thunder+lightning i just heard.

I'm just back from the cinema and it's still sunny. I can recommend Iron Man 3 btw, it's good fun.

    donate 50 squids.

    Mmmmmm calamari.

Best beer garden I was ever in was a tapas bar. All you can eat on a Sunday 12pm - 6pm, so used to go there about midday, drink copious amounts of wine and little dishes of food every hour.

That's the way to spend a sunny Sunday afternoon :)

Don't really have a plan.. If I get a chance to shop, do some reading, relax yet keep occupied. Drink and eat well if possible, travel around the usual suspects at the weekend from time to time

Thinking of ordering ordered a pizza and picking which cars I want to test drive this weekend as I plan to have a new (to me) one by the end of the month
