Qualified for JSB - automatically get a medical card?

I've recently been made redundant & today was told I qualify for JSB. My husband is on JSA. Do I automatically get a medical card / GP card or do I apply separately? I was told by someone on the dole that you automatically get a Medical Card. I'd be more than happy with a GP card for my two very small children.

You don't automatically qualify, you still need to apply
