Hi,Im just wondering what the best way to write a history essay is.My teacher does not correct them instead she just ticks the page and puts a percentage at the end:mad: She has us going
    -Intro
    -1st point
    -2nd point
    -3rd point
    -conclusion

Is this a good way or what?

There's a total of 100 marks going per question, with 60 for cumulative score and 40 for overall evaluation...each paragraph is scored between 0-12 marks, although getting 12 or even 10+ for one paragraph is nearly mythical for history, you'll generally average 5-7 points per paragraph. You'll want about 10 to ensure that 60 in the cumulative...if you make 60 in the cumulative with a good intro and conclusion you'll also generally score highly in overall evaluation too

Don't waste serious time with the intro and conclusion; three small sentences will do, and they should aid you as to what you're going to write about.

Always write in small sentences. Small sentences are more concise. They are easier to mark per piece of information. History examiners do not care about how nice your English syntax is. They want facts. Avoid commas and semi-colons.
