The BBC revamped their website today and I just noticed that the iPlayer is now working in Ireland. I assume they didn't intend to do this and that normal service will be resumed once they twig??

    Working fine for me.

But the fact that I live in Edinburgh probably means that I don't count. Maybe. :)

That's the BBC Worldwide version that has a limited offering of programs plus is only available via an Apple only app.

I know this post is a little old but - I tried Mediahint via Firefox and it worked no problem.

things is...I opted to download the program (via 'download options' etc.) as it was for someone else, but when I try to play the downloaded file - I get hit with some message about not having the rights to view the content??

    Any workaround for this?

    thanks.

There is no discussing circumventing regional restrictions. Or dragging up old threads for that matter
