    Hey all
Just wondering if anybody has any experience of what hop up rubber fits into an AGM L96 as I've been told it has a strange hop up so am unsure if it's the normal rubber?
If anybody had tips for it also this would be appreciated, as frankly I have no clue what I'm doing, and google, for once, is no help ;)
    Post all thoughts below
    Thanks again :)

there are several different types of hop up rubber for the L96's, you could open yours and see which type your uses. i have kinked 2 types for you to compare.

firefly or km head hop up rubbers are very good if you can find them (in stock) to suit your gun.

Thanks a million mate I think I'll email them rather than open up my gun just yet, as I'm lacking the time (not to mention the skill!)
I'll post my finds here :)

put a tight bore barrel in, such as

and hobby airsoft were doing silencer adaptors for various spring, sniper rifles ( can't find them on the website to link to) so maybe give them a shout too.

Thanks again! Am thinking about spray painting it also over the summer, make it a U-AGM L96 (the U for Unreal) ;)
    Thanks mate :)

    Thanks thermo!

If anybody needs help putting a new hop up rubber into their AGM L96, pm me!
I bought the above rubber, and quickly found out that it was a bit too long for the hop up unit!
However, comparing it to the previous hop up rubber, I managed to cut off roughly .3cm (3mm I think) of the new hop up rubber ON THE END THAT IS ON THE BARREL, so that it won't interfere with the gun's hop up, as the part I crudely cut (using a crafting knife), only sits on the barrel, so there is no need for precision really!
Then, it's simple: just slide the new, modified hop up rubber onto the hop up bucking (the black plastic thing underneath the hop up rubber, sitting on the barrel end) , and you'll have to squeeze the new hop up rubber over this.
When this is done, re-insert your barrel into the hop up unit, tighten your screws, and set up the gun again.
Pm me for any info whatsoever regarding the AGM L96 hop up, such as Dissassembly, whatever!
I should really make one of those guides for you people, as there seems to be little knowledge of it on YouTube, bar one blurry video in French!
Anyway, thanks again thermo, and SEAirsoft, who offered me a full refund on the hop up rubber, which I declined!
    Thanks :)
