Anyone renting map acres and if so how much are you paying?

It is important to be aware that renting map acres is totally illegal and any one caught by the Dept will suffer severe penalties. The single farm payment is very important to every farmer so it is not worth messing with. Last year I was talking to a senior inspector in the Dept and I was surprised to hear from him that they monitor social media site including boards.ie and also done deal. So you can do nothing.

I know and I would expect the same but the map acres im looking for wouldnt be claiming any money

Sorry Bob if I took you up wrong but anyone taking map acres usually do so for financial benefit either to get sps , das or nitrates.

It's my opinion that Bob needs extra acres to satisfy the nitrates directive - having failed to take into account the output of his Cat.
