Called for 'meeting'

    Hi,

I applied for a job with a big financial company based in dublin about 2 weeks ago, the job description was very vague and stated that this was an newly created position. I received a phonecall the other day wondering if I could call in to meet a member of very senior management. I of course said yes and he stated that he would send me on details. I have made it to 2nd round interview stage with another large finance company and when I got the call an email followed with more details e.g. detailed job spec, what type of interview it will be i.e. competency based etc. However in the email all I got was an invitation to a 'meeting' and the address. I'm just wondering how I should prepare myself for this? I'll obviously do as much back ground checking on the company as possible so I can explain why I want to work there but how else can I prepare with no detailed job spec? Any help would be great as I really hate being unprepared for things and I've been out of work WAY too long!!

    Thanks for any replies :)

    Email them back and ask.......

It shows your level of interest in the company, organisation skills and your interest in this role.

You can gauge from their reply what kind of meeting it may be
