Are AIB good for chargebacks on Visa Debit's?

    Just wondering, no real issues ATM, but I'm just curious in case anything does happen, how safe I'll be relying on AIB to give me a chargeback for unreceived items purchased online.

    Chargebacks should be a last resort.

    In the event on non delivery , you first of all make contact with seller and find out why item has not been delivered .

    If you use a secure online payment method like Paypal , then you can lodge claim with them within 45 days .

    If you are not making headway in your communication to receive your item , you can apply to your bank for a chargeback , in which case your bank will communicate with your suppliers merchant , which is the bank that processed transactions for company that debitted your card . .

    Distance selling regulations are your friend when dealing with non delivery of goods from online stores. Use PayPal when buying on eBay
