Maybe that's where they got their name? Maybe they always planned to repeat everything 3 times a year? :o

TV3 are showing the Europa final tonight which may have gone to extra time. Putting a repeat on rather than the usual Midweek show is probably sensible for the night that is in it.

I find myself automatically wondering if this latest repeat had a different title when it first aired... :o:o:D:D;);)

I've heard that before. They rename the show with a different title but it's the exact same.

They haven't renamed a programme for at least the last year or so. Thankfully that practice stopped.

The amount of repeats on the channel has gotten crazy though. I thought their reliance on ITV shows had eased a bit after they decided against showing Dancing On Ice, but if you see this Sunday's lineup - they have Downton Abbey, Briatains Got talent, Britains Got More Talent, The Cube, All Star Family Fortunes, British Soap Awards, Susan Boyle Documentary and Emmerdale.

From the 21 hours that TV3 are broadcasting on Saturday, nearly 54% are shows broadcast on ITV!!

Just imagine TV3 with say 30% of the licence fee.

Foxrock Villas, Irelands Got talent, Irelands Got More Talent, The Cube, All Star Irish Family Fortunes, Irish Soap Awards, Niamh Kavanagh Documentary and Glenroe 2013 - Blackie Strikes Back

RTE have already done the All-Ireland Talent Show (even if it didn't involve Simon Cowell in any way whatsoever), and TV3 have already done two series of Alan Hughes' Family Fortunes. :);)

I can imagine an Irish version of The Cube being done at the Helix (where else?) with a host like Keith Duffy or Brian Ormond, a top prize of no more than €100,000, and overplaying of the best-known games, including Barrier, Cylinder and Construction. Oh, and at least half of the episodes featuring Z-listers.

And an Irish Soap Awards ceremony would be an unbelievable waste of time with Fair City winning most of the awards, and the rest going to programmes that not everyone would consider soaps. And Ros na Rún would hardly get a look-in, since TV3 only care about Gaeilge when they show minor football and hurling matches...

Don't watch TV3, can't stand the 10 minute long ad breaks. Absolutely ridiculous.

They should consider filming an Irish Version of The Cube on the ITV set in London (where most of the International versions are made). Send over Keith Duffy (or whoever) and a few contestants and supporters. But no Z list celebs, I'm sick of them.

High production values at a rate which even TV3 might be able to afford!
