Shampoo for male hair

Does anyone know how to get clean, healthy looking hair without the need for styling products like wax or gel?

I have stopped using products and love the fact that I can run my fingers through my hair without getting sticky hands and without messing the style.

Some days my hair looks good but others it looks a bit fluffy.

Is it shampoo choice? I use head and shoulders.

How does David Beckham get his hair like this?

looks like he uses a forming mousse for volume and hold

Smoothing serum would be ideal for you - it takes away any flyaways but doesn't make your hair feel greasy or crunchy. Most have an oily consistancy but won't leave your hair oily (unless you use too much!). I use Vo5 serum (you can get it in most supermarkets) and I find it really good for making my hair silky and sleek without being weighed down or nasty feeling. You only need a tiny amount so a bottle lasts for ages.

The picture of Mr. Beckham - he looks like he uses a mousse or something similar to keep the hold. His hair looks very soft but chances are it probably doesn't feel as nice at it looks. If you want the same look, a mousse along with a serum would work well (but, as I said, with the mouse your hair will not feel super soft).
