We have a flight leaving terinal 1 at 6a.m on a Sat morning in August and a few questions hope someone can help

    1) Is the only place to smoke after security in the Garden Bar (for dh not me) if so would it be open early enough to get breakfast eaten there before flight?
    2) What is the McDonalds menu at this time in the airpot is it breakfast only?
3)Does anyone have any idea how long the security queues would be at this time?

Any advice appreciated as will have 3 small kids and a grumpy dh also if he can't smoke:rolleyes:

The McD's before security is 24 hours as far as I recall. Breakfast menu is all that's available at that hour.

The Garden Bar is the only place after security to smoke, it's open at 5am according to the Dublin Airport website (http://www.dublinairport.com/gns/shops-restaurants/bars-restaurants/bars-restaurants-terminal-1.aspx)

Queues can be long after 6am (as a lot of flights go out that time), but as you're flying at 6 a.m. and you'll be clearing it earlier it should be ok. Still, give yourself plenty of time just in case it's busy.

thanks a mill for that buffybot, would quite easily eat a burger at that hour but not so keen on the Mcdonals breakfast so it looks like it's straight to the garden bar and be ready to punce for brekkie as soon as it opens

Expect big lines at that time .Mc Donalds only serves breakfast menu at this time. Boots( after security ) actually do great deal sandwich or salad or sushi ..maybe you feel like it at this time lol ,with any drink( smoothie ,water ,soda) and crisp or yoghurt or chocolate bar for around 4E .
