Shimano 105 chainset for sale or swap

    Hi,

    I have a shimano 105 chainset that I'm looking to change. It came with a new bike I bought so practically new. It's a compact with 175mm crank arm length. Would swap for a double with 170 crank arm length. Anybody interested give me a shout. I'm in Kerry.

    just curious but can you actually feel the difference in 5mm.i had 3 bikes with all different cranksets never made one iota od difference.

    I think it feels a little different and as I'm changing to a double I might as well get the crank arm length I'm used to. Can't say for sure if it makes a difference, 5mm does seem pretty small!

    Have a used 105 double. Will check crank length.
    Edit, have an ultegra double 170, and a 105 double 175 ( Don't ask- I'm a wimp who had to get a compact)
    (Mods-should this be in adverts?)

    Cheers! Would you have any use for 105 double I have or you just looking to sell? What's your price for the ultegra one and what kind of condition is it in?

    Bought a second hand look bike last year with a compact on it. Guy gave me the original Crankset belonging to the bike in case I ever got the legs - like that's going to happen. It's used, with scuffmarks etc but I wouldn't recognise myself if overworn. The rest of the bike is in good nick. Don't know how much it's worth ( guess I could find out) . Don't need compact at the moment, but can see a situation where I might buy another bike with a double and could use it then. If you pm me I can send you pics tomorrow. (Not sure how to post)
    Would be happy to post it down to you and if you consider it a dud you can post it back, if happy with it, send on the compact.
