Ok - So I have been accepted into both, and I am unsure as to how they differ, and how one would be better than the other when it comes to looking for a job using the degree.

Is there anybody here studying BESS? Or does anybody know how they measure up to eachother?

    Thanks :D

With BESS, you get the opportunity for more choice. In your first year, you'll be exposed to courses in business, economics, political science and sociology. After first year, you get to choose which of these you want to focus on solely, or which two you want to focus on jointly

You can focus on commerce/business subjects only, or do economics and politics, or business and sociology etc.

BESS is only a glorified arts degree , with commerce you get much more professional exemptions for example if you want to do the accounting exams after your degree you get exempt from cap1 exams from doing commerce. With BESS you don't get any exemptions from professional exams.
