Body Found In Riverside Apartments

The man, thought to be a foreign national in his 40s, was found dead this morning in an apartment at around 11am .

He was discovered by his brother with injuries that indicate an assault.

Locals claim there was shouting coming from the apartment in recent days.

The dead man’s body remains at the scene which has been preserved to facilitate the garda investigation.

The office of the state pathologist has been informed with a post mortem expected to be carried out later.

Seems that way, there is slightly updated info on rte site but nothing much,

Inspector Harrison appealed for anyone with information to contact them immediately.

Letterkenny is getting very rough the past few years. The town is starting to look really run down too. It's a shame because I used to live there and loved it.

unless you have proof then posts like yours don't help anyone. Its things like that that mean a certain site doesn't get linked to or talked about on this forum

Poor man. RIP.

It's horrible to think that there are people willing to kill others -and that such people were in Letterkenny recently.

One thing is for sure, though. Such people are not welcome here. (whether they're local, or not!)

I hope the Gardaí find whoever is responsible, and the judge throws away the key...
