Gift for a fussy cantankerous aunt

Despite the title, I love her dearly but she's shocking hard to please and would be very put out with a present she didnt deem acceptable.
She's 61, and is a full time carer for her elderly mother so she can't get out and about to use a hair or beauty gift card and last time I got her a gift voucher for my local salon she gave out that she was asked too many questions by the therapist.

She gives away sets like bath stuff.
I usually get her makeup or perfume but tbh I have never seen her wear the makeup or smelled the perfume.

So far I've got her a dozen birthday cupcakes and I am going to do shellac nails for her tonight but, as to what to buy for her, I have no idea.

Her hobbies would be old person dancing, reading (but not sure what) and weekends away but she can't do that anymore.

Any ideas appreciated, as she would be the kind to get the hump with the wrong present,

Have you ever seen Curb your enthusiasm? Anyhoo...

how about arranging cover and taking her out for lunch and maybe bringing her to a bookshop to buy some books?

Lunch is a good idea as it's been a long time since we've done that together.
Don't understand what you mean by curb your enthusiasm though. :o

A lunch sounds like a lovely idea, a break is what she needs.

If that didn't work out how about a bracelet to help show off the manicure? Or get a nice photo printed and frame it for her?
