Does anyone know is it south or north italy irish weanlings are mainly going to?
Hoping to head down southern Italy and hiring a car come October and could go for a nose!

I'm sure Reilig, legwax, juniorhurler or others may have some idea??

Not a clue where they go once they get on the TLT lorry. Once the cheques don't bounce I am not too fussy either.;)

I think they are all over. A couple of years ago when we were in Rome, we visited one about an hour's drive outside the city and you could see a lot of animals with irish tags in them.

TLT export a lot of animals to Massoro & Sons. They are near Venice.

Wasn't there a young lad on here a few years ago who was going to set up his own export company for them? Wonder how he got on?

Article in Journal a while back. Weanlings were dropped off at a number of farms with some guys only taking a few each time. These were small producers. God bless the weanling exporters. Nothing like a bit of competition.

I heard it is mostly North Italy they go to, that's where the better land is.

If the seat's wet, sit on yer hat, a cool head is better than a wet ar5e.
