transporting a tractor

    Hi does anyone know of a tractor.transport company to transport a small 2wd tractor around north tipp to bring a tractor home around 60 miles?

    Driving it would be a lot cheaper.
    Apart from that somebody with a recovery truck , would shift a small tractor no bother. You will find the local lads in golden pages .

    It's about 3 tonne weight.I wonder how much a recovery lorry would charge

    how small, do you know anyone with a jeep and flat trailer with ramps, I moved the cousins 135 for example on a trailer not a bother, used a few straps to tie it down

    oh charges a euro a km but remember its not just the trip with the tractor, they have to get there aswell, alot of people forget this

    I brought a Massey 65 from Ardrahan in Galway to Cavan a few months back. 90 miles each way. My own jeep and trailer, and I spent €80 in diesel. So factor in a fellows time and a bit for wear and tear etc, and you are at a euro to a euro fifty a mile.
