Where should I consider to find the best value one of these?

I'm a cash buyer, willing to import from UK too. Only interested in the s line model, 2.0d, and dont want a white one. High millage doesnt bother me as long as well maintained.

Looking so far on carzone, donedeal, usedcarsni, autotrader, cargiant as well as considering going to an auction. Hard to know whats the best option. I think buying in the uk an ex company 1 owner is my best option but not sure best place to source this.

    Any help appreciated

plenty of 10 avants here but not too many s lines. a 2010 will cost you about 10/11 sterling with about 4,000 euro vrt on a high milage car eg 100k. you can find the same here for 18/19 euro so i think you would be better off buying here

There was technically no S-Line models sold in Ireland in 09/10. Looks like there was an S-Line pack available in 2010, but that was an offer for the exterior pack (wheels, bumpers, Side Skirts) added on to the Base, SE or Sport models.

Best bet is to keep an eye on Autotrader to see what pops up. Most of the leasing companies in the UK dispose through auction, so you could register on BCA and see if there is anything of interest coming up. They have very thorough reports on car condition - often making the cars look much worse than they are in reality.

Only leasing company I could find that dispose of their own stuff via a retail outlet is Blackhorse (part of Lex). This link should bring up the A4 Avant's they have for sale, if not just search from the home page.

    http://www.blackhorsecarsales.co.uk/used-cars/search/(3;33;5;0;0;0;0,50000)

Only 2 S-Lines and you'll struggle to land the cheapest for under 20k.

Cheers for that, really appreciate you taking the time to do that. Will keep an eye on their website as well as autotrader.

Do the auction websites publish what price the hammer falls at on recent lots anywhere? I struggled to find this info easily

Couldn't find anything with a quick google, and on the BCA website it looks like you have to register as a trader for access to that.

It's free to register on BCA, and there are a few S-Line Avant's coming up for sale on the search.
