Apartments in Zell am See

    We're heading off to Zell for a couple of weeks in the summer and are looking for an apartment for about 10 days. I reckon there's more chance of someone in this forum having suggestions than in the general travel forum.

    The main criteria is that it has to be in the town rather than the surroundings or up the mountain. We'll be arriving by train and will probably hire a car for a few days rather than having a car for the full time we're there but the rest of the time we will be on foot so it needs to be central(ish).

    We were there in the summer a couple of years back and the various activities were great fun. The apartment we stayed in was fine, but a little dark as it was an old, old building. It had character but this year we want something a little brighter.

    So, does anyone have any good suggestions? Ideally it would be a two bedroom apartment with a separate kitchen/dining area but I'm open to alternatives.

    Hotel Neue Post have apartments, I know Direct Ski sell deals for their apartments during ski season http://www.neuepost.at/.

    A Bit Of Irish Pub in the town is run by an Irish couple. He is from Raheny I think. If you can't get any info here or in searches yourself you could drop them a message on facebook and ask if they can give you local info.
