    Hi,

My front left indicator doesn't seem to be working, have tried new bulbs but no joy.

Any advice on the next thing to check before spending money on a mechanic?

    Any help would be appreciated!!

Check for rust or deformed socket (look at the back, is it connecting properly/loose wiring?)

Can we assume you are using the correct bulb?
Have you checked the main terminal for voltage?
Have you a good earth at the lamp unit?
Is the correct bulb fitted to the rear indicator on the same side?

    Hi Biko,

No apparent rust or loose wiring.

    Thanks though!

    Hi Wheelnut,

Ya the bulb is correct, at first I thought that was problem so I checked bulb on the other side and its fine. All other bulbs are correct and working perfectly.

Not sure about the earth or voltage, may need to get someone to check that!

    Thanks!

It's time to bring out the volt meter, or visit a car electrician.
