Anyone have any info on the issue that closed 16 this evening about 1900z? It was referred to by ATC as an emergency. I got an abbreviated callsign of G-GN, which may refer to G-MEGN, a King Air that may have arrived yesterday. Anyone shed any light?

Must have missed that.. Was it not a shift in the wind speed / direction that prompted the runway change.. ? We were number 2 for takeoff and had to make the trail all the way back up to 16. Over 30 minutes of taxiing from block out.

i herd ATC remark later on, that "we are 'back to normal' if you could call anything this evening normal". did the in use runway not change something like 3 times in 1hr, from 28 to 10 to 16 and back to 10? it looked that way from the planes coming and going over my place this evening.

It was an engine issue on take off for that a/c. We got a very basic text from the DAP emergency team. Emergency was stood down within about 15 mins.
