Late collection of Job Seakers Benefit at Post Office

The car has to go for repairs and NCT next week on my partners collection day, Tuesday, has anyone had problems collecting a day late like Wednesday? The post office say they hold the money until Friday but she is panicking.

The payment will be in the Post Office for 3 working days, it will be fine until at least Thursday evening.
