Trying to book on ryanair.com and after the 1st page it says loading please wait then another pop up taking loner than expected , do you want to continue , I say yes then the cycle begins again.
I've tried Mozilla, Internet explorer and safari on IPhone and can't complete a booking. Talked to ryanair free live chat they're about as helpful as a brown paper bag in the rain.
Anyone else having probably while trying to book on ryanair?

Feck 'em and use Aer Lingus or anyone else instead. You'll thank yourself when you do the tradeoff between paying a small bit extra and having a thousand percent less hassle.

I normally do but f'ing Aer lingus pulled out of the cork Gatwick route so RYAN are my most convenient option by a long ways.

This is in no way any use to the OP. Keep it constructive please.

That is indeed a valid point Con,however what that "small bit extra" actually is,decides the issue for most people.

I've just booked 3 persons plus a 20Kg bag return to Edinburgh in July for a TOTAL of €236.58

My obligatory cross reference with Aer Lingus/Aer Arann for the same dates/times left me with a somewhat sour tasting €540.94

Ryanair, there's no doubt that everybody hates 'em and nobody uses 'em but with price differences on this scale their 80% load factors are easily explained....:)

Didn't experience the technical problem myself.

I would have booked on Aer Lingus, but Ryanair's €29 won vs. AL's €123.

Trying to book flights home from London earlier and it says they are having website issues and to try later.

I've often flown Dublin to London with Aer Lingus for less than Ryanair, and that was before I added Stansted Express fares. There's so many people out there who look no further than the Ryanair website because they think every other airline will automatically dearer.

That may well be true for an ever decreasing number of people, but I suspect most folks now will simply do a comparison themselves or use sites such as Skyscanner to put up the comparisons.

The London alternatives do require consideration,as not all visitors to London are Heathrow centric, however there is little doubt that the Stanstead and Gatwick Rail Fares represent pure profiteering at an obscene level.

That said,my recent fare checking experiences have shown that even when directly comparable, such as at Nice and Edinburgh,Ryanair remain significantly cheaper.

I'm totally mercenary in all of this, and the cheapest operator will get my €...to date that almost inevitably will be Risky Ol Ryanair.

For fares to the UK I simply can't beat Ryanair since I've had their fare system worked out to a T for years now, last time I paid 39.98 return to Stansted with carry on luggage for a short hop to London for a few days at what appears to be the lowest price tier of 19.99. It seems some airports in the UK are a bit lower at 17.99 though at the lowest price tier.

To be fare though (pun intended), paying £20 single for a 15 minute journey on Heathrow Express is not exactly value for money either, worse still, if you buy on-board, which I can't believe many do, it costs £25. I agree Stansted & Gatwick Express are overpriced though, but there are alternatives for Heathrow Train wise , and bus wise for Stansted Express which are cheaper.

Gatwick isn't too bad if you use First Capital Connect or Southern trains, both services only take five minutes longer than the Gatwick Express to central London, and they're miles cheaper.

If I use Heathrow I always slum it out on the tube, the Piccadilly Line can be a pain, but I find it never takes more than 45mins to central London. There's no way I'd use the Heathrow Express.

When I have the time I always find the best way to London starts with the 0805 Ulysses from Dublin Port and ends with the arrival of the Virgin trains "Irish Mail" into Euston at around 1645 ;)

If going to Heathrow, Heathrow Connect is a good option €9.50 single to Paddington and takes 28 minutes running every half an hour:
