    Hi all,

Just wondering whether there are any decent laptops out in the (non commercial) market? Reason being I've been the owner of both a Dell XPS 16 with RGB LED and a XPS 15 with B+RG LED screen. The reason I had to downgrade to the 15 was due to there no longer being an RGB option available in 2012 and, although the 15 is fine; I'd rather get a 17" screen with a high res, high colour gamut setup.

Seeing as you fine people of C&T>Laptops are the gurus of such things I'm hoping you might be able to help me!

Any brand will do - would just like to avoid the big, ugly blocks that are commercial laptops. Thanks!

Might be hard enough to source. I was lucky enough to get an XPS 17 with the RGB LED about two years ago. I checked a week later and they were no longer available as an option. They are a lovely screen

That's a disaster. I would have thought that with tablets getting 'retina' screens that some companies might start offering premium laptops. I suppose this market is starting to die in their eyes.

Shame, too. Would kill for a larger laptop with a top end screen. Might settle on an IPS monitor instead.
