Anybody ever hear of japanese permanent straightening treatments?

    Has anybody on these forums heard of japanease hair straightening,its supposed to be the newest treatment out this part of the world.


    I think its called yuko. Its supposed to last a long time,does anybody know where i could get it done here,as i have went to a few hairdressers and they say they have never even heard of it:eek:,but i see it in all the magazines:(

    I dont think its anything new - I seen it a few years ago.

    Chemical straightening will give you the same results. It just permanently straightens yours hair thats treated. But the hair that grows after wont be straight. So if you had really bad hair then your roots would be all frizzy and bad but the rest of your hair straight after a few weeks.

    Cowboys and Angels on South William Street in Dublin does it! I didn't get it done myself but I heard it lasts for ages!
