    HI lads. Went on electrics the weekend and turned the fridge on ,got a green light but no cold fridge,,,any ideas what was wrong.Thanks :)

    It might sound like too obvious of an answer but was the thermostat turned down to 0?

    What kind of fridge? if its absorption type the heating element may be duff or the ammonia may have stratified. Have you got heat coming out the vent?If its a compressor fridge is the compressor coming on how long is it running. for.

    Thanks for the reply's lads, I didn't know I had to change the switch from 12 volt to full power.Soon as I did ,the fridge is cooling .:)
