OP snippet rather than OP username for threads listed on front page

I like being able to mouse over a thread in a forum and read the little snippet, particularly in busy forums it gives an idea of whether the thread is even worth opening.
I also like using the front page "Latest" list, because it brings me to forums that I otherwise probably wouldn't end up in. There though, mousing over gives the name of the OP rather than a snippet.
If at all possible, I think there'd be more utility if the snippet were displayed rather than, or perhaps with the name of the OP.
    Thanks for all the work!

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph. An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu. Some elements, such as rich link embeds, images, loading indicators, and error messages may get inserted into the editor. You may navigate to these using the arrow keys inside of the editor and delete them with the delete or backspace key.
