Finished college, but not officially until June

I'm completely finished college for two weeks now. No classes or exams. I got a letter from college to sign on part-time, but it states I'm not finished until June 1st. Will this be a problem applying now? Any way around it?

If the letter say your finished on June 1 sign on on June 1.Or as for a new letter reflecting the fact that you are now finished.
