Stiffness and soreness from golf

Hi I recently started playing golf and the last two times I played, I ended up with a very painful shoulder and side. Is this normal? I did the stretches and all that before and am reasonably fit. Anyone else have this problem?

    Hi,
Not normal at all. you may be fit but your flexibility may be poor. Go for a lesson a pro should be able to spot what ever you are doing to hurt yourself.

Stiff yes. Soreness should not last.

Basically if you're not used to it you'll feel it a little on your left side and between the shoulder blades.
Should go after 2 days like any stiffness.

I would feel it a little if I hit say 110 range balls after a while off.
