SAORVIEW TV SETUP

    IVE GOT A SAORVIEW FREEVIEW TV

    I PLUGGED THE UPC CABLE WHICH WAS CONNECTED TO

    THE UPC DIGIBOX AND THE TV SEARCHED AND FOUND 273 DIGITAL

    CHANNELS,ALL SCRAMBLED EXCEPT RTE1, SO WHAT DO I NEED TO DO TO GET MORE CHANNELS AS MY TV HAS A DIGITAL MENU GUIDE
    AND RECORDER BUILT IN SO I WONT NEED A DIGIBOX

    First of all stop shouting. CAPS LOCK can be found above the shift key on most keyboards.

    Second of all what you've done is try to connect this to a cable source. You're picking up the cable channels but they are all encrypted so you won't be able to view them without an STB.

    What you need to do is connect an external aerial.

    Most digital channels on cable TV are encrypted and require a box supplied by UPC to decode them.

    Depending on where you live you probably need a rooftop aerial and possibly a dish to receive all the free channels.

    Let us know where you live and the exact make and model of the TV. Also are you paying a subscription for TV and are you happy to continue paying?

    Did it find any analogue channels from UPC ?
