Hoping someone might be able to help me with this!

I have a Canyon Ultimate AL. The rear derailleur hanger snapped last week. I have no spare, so i ordered one from canyon. I have received the confirmation email today saying expected delivery date: week 24 of 2013, which is 10th June. I CAN'T WAIT THAT LONG.

Anyone any suggestions as to where I might get a replacement a bit quicker than that?!

I'd try & get straight back onto them explaining your situation, & what they can do, if anything. My dealings with Canyon they were prompt in the communicative stakes. Beyond that I'm afraid I'm of zilch use.

They seem to be out of stock. I ordered two of the same hangers on Apri 19 and that's the delivery date I got too.

Tried ringing, but can't get through at the minute. The hanger for the 2008 ultimate al is in stock and looks almost identical. I wonder whether it would work...

You could try these people: link (Haven't used them myself)

A question if I may - how did the hanger break?

Been there, done that. While a lot of their hangers look similar, unless it's the right one, it won't fit.

Your best bet, if you're in a hurry is to try another provider like Pilo to see if they have one in stock

Just snapped when out on a spin, changing down a gear. I'm guessing it got a knock a couple of days before - had a crash during our club league. That or it got a knock while transporting to and from races.

It's no18. I've ordered through that shaltauge.com site above - email saying its dispatched 17 minutes after ordering! Hopefully it all goes smoothly from here!

I used Betd after snapping a hanger from an obsolete alu road-frame. I took a picture of the hanger (still had the two pieces), they matched it with the list and machined a new one. It was all very prompt.

    see hanger #257 on list

if your really stuck i can give you a loan of a universal emergency hanger, something like this although I dont know if it would work long term for you.

actually, even if your not really stuck you are welcome to a loan of it.
