Alphabetical order in MS Word?

I have a rather long list of names, over 500, in a MS Word document, is there anyway they can be organized into alphabetical order.

I haven't the time to do it manually plus I'd be bound to make a couple of errors. I have gone through all the functions and it doesn't seem like an obvious function.

you don't say what version of Word.

On 2007, on my home tab, theres an A-Z button.

Super! Thank you. I spent the last 5 mins looking to see what version I had, have 2007, went to the home tab, couldn't see a/z but I have found it now. Excellent, you saved me a lot of work thank you.
