    Hi Guys
Just a quick one. Ive put a set of Vittoria Rally tubs on my vintage bike. The reason why is they have amber sidewalls ane are in keeping with the bike.

From reading up on them they seem to have a worse reputation than Major James Hewitt... ! I need to have tubs that are fairly robust and amber sidewalls. Performance is secondary.. Its all vanity..!

Anyone use them or have any experuence of them...? Even a suggestion of better ones wouldnt go amiss...

    Cheers

Veloflex also make high quality tyres that have tan sidewalls. They are the same moulds as vittoria (or vice versa really) but made in Italy.
I have the master on my race bike. Terrible wear rate, but amazing comfort and performance. Would recommend them or vittoria, whichever you can get cheaper I suppose.
I got mine from jedi sports as part of an order.

Thanks a mill for that. I will be using them for sportives and fast touring so I am going to have to keep out of the ruff stuff.

I plumped for the lard and got 3 Vittoria Rally's. I have them mounted with no glue and up to max rated of about 9 bar. They are sitting in the hot press which will cause me difficulty if the better half sees them. I will bond them on Wed next and have her ready to roll for the Tour de Connemara on the 25th May.

Vanity is everything in cycling ....! Well for that bike anyway !
