Over the past few weeks there have been parking enforcement officers at the retail park where Argos, B&M TK Maxx etc. are.
They're not clamping but are putting (unenforceable) penalty notices on cars left there for more than 2 hours.

They could bring in clamping so just a heads up for anyone parking in Newry.

Going on a trip do Newry with some foreigner visitors next week - any wise advice in terms of parking there (centre)? Do we need coins to pay for parking there?

Yes you do. It's fairly cheap 60 p a hour for on street parking. Newry is brutal for traffic and parking.

I tend to park in one of the shopping centres(depending which direction I am coming from) and walk around the city.
