Work on a section of the T1 baggage hall is near completion. Id imagine they will move the check in desks to accomodate the new baggage hall. Then maybe start upgrading the previously used check in area.
Btw, this is the baggage hall where airlines collect and transfer baggage onto planes, not the baggage hall where passengers collect their bags.

I read it on another fourm and they said basement check in and thats why I started the threat but its only a small move. T1 departure is in real need of work.

No the ryanair checkin in is now along the back wall of T1 departures ares. The Ticked desk is also now moved there! Its area 13 i think! Its the area underneath McDonald's (that end of the terminal)

I wonder when there moving down. Obviously the scanning system trail was a success and is back up and running. There moving in beside us in area 12 must be having two ticket desks or something. I'm curious as to what they have blocked of over by the bathrooms in area 12

I think the back wall looks good, bit much but there going to be the new aer lingus of terminal 1 surprised they didn't ask for area 14 prolly be a lot cheaper as the public can't see them and there not in anyone's way down there ha ha. But none the less it's nice to finally see the area is going to be back up and used looked so eary.
