Anyone have any idea how many times your allowed to repeat an exam, I heard something about your only allowed 3 attempt's and after that its pretty much tuff luck, don't know how true that is. I have a repeat exam during the week and its my 3rd attempt at it, really cant see myself passing it. Cant seem to get a straight answer off my course head about it.

I'm not 100% sure on this, as it might have changed since my day but I don't think there's any limit to how many times you can repeat. There is however a 5 year expiry on how long your credits (which you get for completing each subject) are valid for, so you need to complete each section of your education within 5 years.

I'm not sure how this is divided i.e. if the ordinary degree is one 5 year period and the honours degree is another 5 year period, or if they take each year as a section of your education.

So short answer: no there is no limit, but if you don't complete all the credits within 5 years your credits are invalid. Good luck with it anyway!
