Does any body have any experience with these scopes?
I'm currently thinking of sticking one on my .308 for some deer this season.

Or is there anything else you would recommend for deer stalking?

The kahels or the swaro in the for sale section are two great scopes.

I was looking at them but because I have to sort out my rifle first they probably won't be available by then.

It sounds like its worth paying the extra few euro and get the illuminated version.

They come up all the time on the uk stalking directory for small enough money i have seen illuminated ones go for 650 pounds on there.

    just an example

They are good scopes for the money. The glass is very clear. The reticle is a little fine for some people. The illuminated is good but I think with illumination in scopes its another thing to worry about going wrong. Its a common thing to see failing even in more expensive scopes. But if its covered by warranty its not a worry.

Ya they can give trouble and after paying for the illuminated reticle you dont want trouble but it doesnt affect using the scope if its gone or not

Duralyts are good scope for the money since they offer excelent illumination (best in class in my opinion) for this price range and wide field of view on all magnifications. The weak point of Duralyts is that they are just not as robust as Docter, Kahles, Kaps scopes.

Other thing is that Docter Classic and Kahles KXi also have better glass.

I bought the one in the link below 2 weeks ago for €1600 to my door including tax and duty and postage here. Otherwise €2200 Fab scope. Can't fault it and it looks like he has a few of them. It came out of the box as if it was new not a mark or even a fingerprint on it.

Thanks for all the opinions guys.
Another scope that has just popped into my radar is a Vortex Viper PST 6-24. I'm going to try get a look through one of them and see what they're like. They are getting good reviews from the US

This two scopes are really different since Viper PST is intended for target shotting and Duralyt for hunting. Viper PST is also quite big and heavy for stalking.

In general However Viper PSt are good scopes for their price, packing really a lot of features. Regarding the glass Sightron SIII and Weaver Tactical scopes both have better glass but less features.

Like I wrote in the beginning, you have to decide for which purpose you need the scope and then the decision will be easier.

Trying to decide what the rifle will be mostly doing is the problem. I'm taking off the 31" barrel off the FTR rig and sticking on a 22" barrel and adding an AI mag system. As its my only CF rifle atm it will be used for foxing, deer and a little target shooting.

I'm hoping to add a .223, .22-250, or something similar to the collection hopefully by the end of the year so this will be used as my varminter.

So if I get a Vortex or something similar with 6-24 type mag I can change it over onto the .223 when I get it and then get a Zeiss or something similar.

    Decisions decisions

If you will use this scope in the future on a varmint rifle chambered in .223, go with Sightron SIII 6-24x50 LR or Vortex PST 6-24x50. They will be great for foxing on longer distances and target shooting.

When you will buy the .223 rifle you can also buy a scope with mag 2.5-10x or 3-12x and then you will have one setup for stalking deer and another for foxing and target shooting.
